I offer both private and group lessons. The private lessons are held in my studio. They are tailored to the individuals intrest and skill. The cost is $25.00 an hour. The time will be scheduled where it is convienent for both. I teach group workshops as well. I have taught homeschool groups, art clubs, and college level seminars, and am comfortable with all age groups. Topics,demonstrations, and activites will be suited to fit the groups level and interest. Prices are variable depending upon subject, preperation, and travel. Portrait Painting Workshop-All Medium    August 16th, 17th , 18th , 19th ,    9:30 to 4

This is an intensive workshop covering all aspects of portrait painting. The focus of the workshop will be to demystify the process of painting a model from life. Day one will concentrate on form and likeness. Day two students will learn to identify and mix tones for life like skin. Days three and four students will work on finishing with emphasis on creating a portrait where all of the elements work together to create a successful work of art

Have you ever been frustrated because…You can’t mix the color www.artscouncilofwhitelake.orgyou want, The  colors look chalky, or color combinations look muddy or harsh?  In this workshop you will learn a simple method of identifying and mixing color.  This is a method that applies to all mediums as well as subject matter and ends the mystery of color
mixing for painters. Learn how to control your palette, discover your personal color sense, and create art that is filled with light and harmony.   Students will work from still life set ups and class size will be limited to twelve so that students will not be crowded.  The workshop will consist of demonstrations, discussion, handouts and
personal critique with the instructor.  A materials list provided with registration.
