Payments will be scheduled as follows: 1/3 at time of photo shoot, 1/3 at acceptance of sketch and 1/3 upon completion.
Prices are per person and special quotes will be given for pets, groups over three and additional background material. Prices do not include travel costs, framing or taxes.
PROCEDURE
The portrait procedure begins with a discussion between the artist and the client during which the size, mood, background and medium of the portrait is decided. Clothing, setting and where the portrait will hang are also taken into consideration.
A photography session is scheduled for either morning or evening at the client's or the artist's home. Fifty to one hundred photos will be taken and the artist will take notes on coloring and other special conditions. The session can take from 30 minutes to several hours and every attempt is made to make the subject comfortable during this time. A small sketch will be made from the photos and presented for the client's approval. With that the aritst will paint the final portrait. An additional sitting of the subject may be required before the portrait is finished. When the portrait is completed the client will pick up the finished painting with insured satisfaction. The artist will discuss framing and the portrait will be packaged for safe transport to the framer.
