Vianna Szabo is an award winning artist who lives in Romeo, Michigan. She has been working as a professional portrait artist for the past 15 years, completing over 100 commissions. She works in both oil and pastel and her favorite subject is children.
She received a B.S. degree and teaching certificate from Eastern Michigan University in 1983. Vianna has spent 9 years as coordinator for the Art Smart program for the Romeo School District and is past President of the Romeo Guild of Art. She currently teaches private lessons and group workshops in her studio in Romeo. She has taught at Macomb Community College from 2004 to 2007. She is currently an instructor at the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Center.
Vianna is a member of the Portrait Society of America, Great Lakes Pastel Society, and Oil Painters of America.
